We have been on a little road trip. First stop was the beautiful Lake Como in the North of Italy. From there we went to Florence passing Portofino and the lovely Cinque Terra. We were spending 4 days in Florence enjoying the old building, the food and the atmosphere.

In Pisa we met a friend on a Triumph. We had a nice pizza and went to Corsica together. On the way home we passed the Dolomites and Grossglockner. In all we were riding more than 6000 km in 3 weeks - on our little red Vespa scooter. :) Click here for more photos...

The Vespa turned out to be a real piggy bank. Even though we made a detour visiting the great blues musician Denny Newman in the southwest of Germany and Saint Gotthard in Switzerland, we were using just 68 litres of gas on the trip from Copenhagen to Florence.

All photos are shot with a Olympus Pen E-P1 camera and a ED 14-150mm/f4.0-5.6 lens.
